3.5 clients
I’ve almost finished the nav bar design I mentioned in the previous post, but have gotten stuck on a couple of things - will have it finished today. All I can say is that a project that should have taken only 2 hours is already at 4.1 hours according to slimtimer. I know it’s even higher (probably another 45 minutes or so) since I’m not the most consistent, yet, at using time tracking.
I’ve secured the language school job and the client seems to be very flexible with due dates and etas. The emails also indicate that this could turn into a repeat client. Am definitely looking forward to this project as it is a large site using Expression Engine and I will also get to see how Engine Hosting works since they’ll be migrating there once we’re ready for a live launch. I’ve only heard good things about them and the fact that they are owned by Ellis Lab is a big selling point in my eyes - pretty much guaranteed to work with Expression Engine.
My next client is also a friend opening a small business - He’s holding off as he wants to get all his content written for the site. Additionally he’s having trouble finding office space that he’s happy with and as such has no where to run his business from at this point.
finally - my original client is back and has answered emails, but rather slowly.
